John came to New, England maybe on the ship "Susan and Ellin" in 1630 at Dorchester, MA, then removed to Windsor, CT in 1635. But S&E sailed 1635 not 1630. Alternate source (unspecified) suggests arrived with 1638 sailing of Susan and Ellin, when John was age 16. To Windsor in 1639 probably assisting Rev. Ephraim Hewett. Residence in Windsor near "Little River" at its junction with the Connecticut.
