Narrative
In 1657 he joined a party who purchased from the Indians a large tract of land on the then firontier beyond Medfield, where they settled and which later became the town of Sherborn. Here he was active in the affairs of the new settlement, and improved a large farm on which lie resided until his death, Jan. 23, 1717-18.
