Narrative

Nathaniel and Lydia lived at Lake Nippenicket in what is now the northwest corner of Bridgewater [LeonardMemoirs 8]. This was undoubtedly the land lying "Next to Joseph Bassetts lott Neare to the Pond" willed to Nathaniel by his father [MD 15:255]. In 1700/01 Nathaniel was "presented for not frequenting the publick worship of God. Dismissed with admonition paying fees."
