came to colonies b1648, CT, settled E.Wethersfield (now Glastonbury) purchased including pond from Indian chief Pechharan. "engager" to Hadley as one of original proprietors. Home on w.side of MainSt. Sargent in militia, farmer, ran corn mill. Son Samuel killed in Indian attack on settlement near Deerfield (4/2/1704), many Boltwoods and Warners involved. Will to three daughters who married Warners.
